VEHICLE
If you do not own a sat nav of any kind then please follow these straightforward instructions to get to Petticoat Lane Emporium via car.
Drive to Ramsgate Harbour.
If the harbour is on your right continue along the main road, up the hill and past the waterfall in the rocks on your left.
As the road levels out at the top (still with the sea on your right) continue past ‘The Granville Theatre’ until you reach the ‘Thanet Road’ turning on your left.
Turn left into Thanet Road and follow it until the end of the road.
At the end of the road you will see the large blue glassworks building in front of you, turn right into ‘Dumpton Park Drive’ and the Emporium will be approximately 200 yards ahead on your left, next to the medical centre.
Our car park is situated on Honeysuckle Road, directly behind the building. Please be aware that the entrance is narrow and on a concrete slope which is not accessible for Long Wheel Base vehicles. Please also remember that it is right turn ONLY when exiting the car park.

BUS
The easiest bus route here is via the Stagecoach ‘Thanet Loop’ service which operates around Thanet all day and arrives at any which bus stop approximately every 7-10 minutes.
Board the bus at any stop in Thanet and simply ask the bus driver to let you off nearest to ‘Tesco Express on Hereson Road, Ramsgate’.
Opposite Tesco Express you will see a small road called ‘Honeysuckle Road’.
Walk up Honeysuckle Road (be prepared for a short but steep incline) and once you reach the top, Petticoat Lane Emporium will be immediately on your right - you can’t miss it!
TRAIN
The nearest train station to Petticoat Lane Emporium is Dumpton Park however, being a smaller station, trains stop less frequently here than at the larger station of Ramsgate. Travel routes differ slightly based on which station you choose to stop at, so please use the following information to decide which is a more suitable route for you.
From Ramsgate Railway Station:
Travel via train from your chosen railway station to Ramsgate [RAM].
Exit the station and either;
board a Thanet Loop bus using the above ‘BUS’ instructions.
order a taxi to Petticoat Lane Emporium - 47 Dumpton Park Drive, Ramsgate, CT11 8AD.
walk to Petticoat Lane Emporium on foot, which will take approximately 25 minutes. We would advise that you use a handheld navigation for this.
From Dumpton Park Railway Station:
Travel via train from your chosen railway station to Dumpton Park [DMP].
Exit the station and walk out of the estate towards the main road, ‘Hereson Road’.
When you reach Hereson Road, turn right to walk downhill along the road.
When you approach ‘Tesco Express’ on your right, use the zebra crossing to cross the road away from the Tesco.
Just to the right of the zebra crossing you’ll see a small road called ‘Honeysuckle Road’.
Walk up Honeysuckle Road (be prepared for a short but steep incline) and once you reach the top, Petticoat Lane Emporium will be immediately on your right - you can’t miss it!
Upon exiting Dumpton Park station, your walk to Petticoat Lane Emporium will be approximately 10-15 minutes.
